What do you enjoy learning about?

Now that we're up and running, this is your big chance to talk about how literacy lights up YOUR life. (Or how it could!) What do you enjoy learning about? What subjects or areas excite you? What do you want to learn more about?

Let's get started!

Here we go! The first stop on this journey of lifelong learning together. Let's take this opportunity to share with each other along the way. We'll look at lots of different books and resources as we expand our interests to literacies of all types. It should be a good ride!

In the October 2009 General Conference, President Dieter F. Uchtdorf said the following:

"Strive to increase your knowledge of all that is “virtuous,
lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy.” Seek knowledge “by study and also by
faith.” Seek with a humble spirit and contrite heart. As you apply the spiritual
dimension of faith to your study—even of temporal things—you can amplify your
intellectual capacity, for “if your eye be single to [God’s] glory, your whole
[body] shall be filled with light, … and [comprehend] all things.”
We can do this! I look forward to working on it with you.
